Daniel Levine - Senior Vice President-Construction

Dan Levine is a licensed Architect with over 25 years of experience in renovation, repair and building construction in the San Francisco Bay Area. As an independent architect prior to joining The John Stewart Company in 1997, Mr. Levine specialized in building rehabilitation and renovation, with a heavy emphasis in multi-family residential and multi-story commercial buildings. As Principal of Daniel Levine Architecture and formerly as Associate and Vice-President of Thomas Sehulster Architect Inc., Dan Levine directed and managed over 200 successful alteration, renovation, retrofit and repair projects. Mr. Levine has been a registered Architect in the State of California since 1979 and a licensed General Contractor since 2004.

Keith Weber - Director of Construction Services

Since joining the John Stewart Company in 1983, Keith Weber has provided construction support services for John Stewart Company managed properties and for a wide variety of outside clients. As a licensed contractor (inactive), Mr. Weber is well versed in all aspects of building construction and rehabilitation, and has comprehensive experience in building and facility inspection and evaluation, HUD programs and guidelines, and evaluating project budgets and construction schedules.

Brian Horn - Senior Construction Project Manager

Brian Horn has served as Project Manager for a wide variety of projects and clients, including Ponderosa Estates, Potrero Court Condominiums, Vintage Tower, Storey Avenue and Cyclic Maintenance in the Presidio of San Francisco, and Sutterfield Condominiums projects, as well as Treasure Island rehabilitation projects for The Villages at Treasure Island, Community Housing Partnership, Rubicon Programs, and Kidango Childcare Center. Prior to joining the John Stewart Company, Brian worked in the construction industry as a project manager for an Architect in San Francisco, CA, and as a Construction Coordinator for a telecommunication company in Fremont. Mr. Horn received a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara.

Ivette Vela - Construction Project Manager

Ivette Vela brings to the John Stewart Company Construction Services Group over 10 years of experience in architecture and construction management of varied construction types and occupancies, including single and multi-family building alteration and renovation projects. At JSCo, Ivette manages the Las Serenas and Pineview Rehabilitations in the San Diego area including coordination of the JSCo rehab crew employed for the projects. Ms Vela is a board member of San Diego’s Southeastern Planning and Projects Committee and has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture.

Tomoyo Yoneda Combies - Architectural Associate

Since joining John Stewart Co. as an Architectural Associate, Tomoyo has managed the preparation of design and contract drawings for Savo Island Coop Repair and Rehab, Jackie Robinson Phase 3 Alterations, Casitas Alameda Clubhouse Alterations and Las Serenas Phase 2 Rehab. She has also served as Project Designer for the Foothill Plaza Rehab and Alteration and Barnhard Hall Historic Rehab in the Presidio of San Francisco, as well as Construction Administrator for the rehab of Potrero Court Condominiums in San Francisco . Prior to joining the staff at the John Stewart Company, she worked as an Architectural Designer at an architectural firm in San Diego . Tomoyo graduated from San Diego State University with Bachelor of Art in Environmental Design.

Jamie Choy - Construction Project Manager

The most recent addition to the John Stewart Company Construction Services Group, Jamie is returning to his native San Francisco, bringing with him a diverse background in construction, construction management and housing. Since graduating with a Bachelor’s degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, he has worked as a project manager for a General Contractor on apartment rehabs in New York City and as Warranty Manager for Habitat for Humanity on projects in New York’s South Bronx, Bedford-Stuyvesant and Harlem neighborhoods. Mr. Choy has also worked as a Fair Housing Counselor in Oakland, CA.
